Cooperative Extension seeks permanent executive director

LEWIS | The Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Essex County New York is looking to fill the role of executive director. CCE Essex has had an interim executive director since 2019 when the previous director stepped down. CCE Essex board and staff are now looking to permanently fill that role with someone who will provide overall leadership and management, guiding and supporting staff. About CCE Essex CCE Essex is a local provider of informal education as part of the statewide Cornell Cooperative Extension network in the Adirondack Park. The agency implements change by aligning local needs with the resources of the land grant system and its state and local partners in the following priority areas: Agriculture, Food Systems Environment and Natural Resources, Sustainable Energy, Climate Change 4-H Youth Development/Children, Youth and Families Nutrition, Food Safety and Security, Obesity Prevention Community and Economic Vitality Specific programs led by CCE Essex are 4-H, Adirondack Harvest, agriculture support and outreach, Farm to Institution, Master Gardener, educational and support services for local families and seniors, workshops, and community events.
