Reimagined Taste of the North Country returns Nov. 3

PLATTSBURGH | The 23rd annual Taste of the North Country will return to Plattsburgh Nov. 3 with an evening of local food, beverages and auction items. Dubbed the most delicious event of the year, the North Country Chamber of Commerce will once again mix community networking with an evening of tasty samples from a host of local vendors and restaurants, including Olde Tyme Winery, Brandy Brook Maple, Adirondack Coffee Roasters and Four Maples Winery. Norma Js, Busters Sports Bar and Restaurant, Chick-fil-A, Perkins Bakery and Restaurant, Hannaford Supermarket, Lakeside Coffee, West Side Ballroom and Valcour Brewing have also joined the growing vendor list participating in the 2021 reimagined event. Those vendors and more will fill the West Side Ballroom Wednesday, Nov. 3 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased the day of or online at northcountrychamber.com. Tickets are $15 per person before Oct. 25 and $18 after. The always-popular event is open to the public, though individuals under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult. "Taste of the North Country is known for its incredible Silent Auction and this year we will not disappoint. It is a great way to have fun and get some of that holiday shopping done too," chamber officials said ahead of the auction, which features gift cards, household items, office gear, travel perks, electronics, gift baskets and more. There are more than 200 items up for bid and this year's event features a new online bidding platform Greater Giving to make bidding even easier. Early bidding begins Monday, Oct. 25 at northcountrychamber.ejoinme.org/tasteofthenorthcountry. Bidders do not need to attend the event to join the auction.
