Steinway artist to perform virtual concern for Piano by Nature

ELIZABETHTOWN | Piano by Nature of Elizabethtown will present a virtual concert by Steinway artist Carolyn Enger called "Resonating Earth" which will transport the viewers from their digital screens into the depths of the natural world. The free online concert will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m., and it will be available for viewing for two weeks afterward at pianobynature.org. Enger, who seeks to raise awareness for environmental issues, will be performing a program of JS Bach, Olivier Messiaen, Erik Satie, Carolyn Shaw, and more. Enger's unique and personal program will combine selected piano music with professional visuals to inspire and delight all watching. "This thought-provoking concert will be pre-recorded and Ms. Enger will join us live as a postlude to her Saturday concert," said Rose Chancler, Piano by Nature's artistic director, in a press release. "Be sure to save up your questions for the stimulating conversation that will most-certainly burst forth after the video."
