World's Largest Garage Sale to transform Warrensburg Oct. 2-4

WARRENSBURG | The Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce invites shoppers, collectors, treasure hunters, and families from across the Northeast to attend the 2026 World's Largest Garage Sale, taking place Oct. 2–4. For three days, Warrensburg transforms into a community-wide marketplace featuring more than 500 vendors, food sellers, local businesses, and residential garage and yard sales spread throughout Main Street and surrounding neighborhoods. Now in its 46th year, the World's Largest Garage Sale has grown into one of the Adirondacks' most recognized fall traditions, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to Warrensburg each year. What began as a community effort in 1980 has evolved into a town-wide shopping experience where shoppers can discover antiques, collectibles, vintage treasures, Adirondack memorabilia, handcrafted goods, household items, tools, furniture, artwork, and countless one-of-a-kind finds. "Each year, the World's Largest Garage Sale brings tens of thousands of visitors to Warrensburg and showcases everything that makes our community special," said Suzanne Tyler, Executive Director of the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce. "From professional vendors and residential sales to local businesses and nonprofits, the event creates an unforgettable experience for visitors while generating a significant economic impact throughout the region." Unlike a traditional flea market or antique show, the World's Largest Garage Sale extends throughout the entire community. In addition to Chamber-managed vendor locations, shoppers will find sales hosted by residents throughout Warrensburg's neighborhoods, creating a true garage sale experience that rewards exploration and discovery. Visitors are encouraged to browse both the major vendor marketplaces and residential side streets in search of hidden treasures and unexpected bargains. Food vendors and local restaurants will also be serving visitors throughout the weekend, offering a wide variety of dining options while shoppers explore the event. PARKING AND SHUTTLE SERVICE To accommodate the large number of visitors expected throughout the weekend, paid parking will be available throughout Warrensburg. Visitors may also utilize park-and-ride locations at the Warren County Fairgrounds and Warrensburg Jr./Sr. High School to help reduce traffic congestion in the downtown area. Event signage and parking attendants will direct visitors to available parking locations. Shuttle service will operate Saturday and Sunday only from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing transportation between designated parking areas and the primary shopping districts. Visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly, as shuttle service is not available on Friday.
