DFCU unveils new logo & brand identity

PLATTSBURGH | Dannemora Federal Credit Union (DFCU) is about to unveil its new logo and refreshed brand identity, marking a new chapter for the credit union while honoring the values and North Country roots that have shaped DFCU for more than 68 years. Officially launched on Sept. 1, 2026, DFCU's new brand introduces a modernized logo, updated color palette and refreshed visual identity designed to better represent who DFCU is today and where it is headed next. "We are incredibly proud of our 68-year history of providing exceptional financial services to the North Country through a combination of personalized, local service and innovative digital tools. Our rebranding efforts reflect our commitment to continued growth and modernization while honoring the history and values that have shaped who we are today. Anna Hewitt-Channell, our Business Development & Marketing Manager, and Michelle Besaw, our Creative Brand Strategist, have done an incredible job leading our team through this extensive rebrand process and bringing this new chapter of DFCU to life," said Chris Hay, Chief Executive Officer of DFCU. Over the next several months, members will begin to see the new look come to life throughout DFCU's branches and across its digital platforms, including Online Banking, the DFCU Mobile App, website, forms, cards, signage and more. The transition will happen gradually as the new colors, logo and visual identity are incorporated into the everyday DFCU member experience. During this time, members may see a combination of both the previous and new branding as updates are completed. The rebrand comes during a period of continued growth and evolution for DFCU. In recent years, the credit union has expanded its focus on financial wellness and education, youth engagement, community partnerships, digital services and resources designed to support members throughout every stage of their financial lives. The new identity was developed with that future in mind -- creating a brand that feels modern and forward-thinking while remaining deeply connected to the communities DFCU has proudly served for generations.
