PLATTSBURGH | Section VII unveiled its softball playoff schedule Tuesday night, with postseason play set to begin Thursday and champions to be crowned May 28-30 across four classifications. In Class A, top-seeded Peru awaits the winner of a semifinal between No. 2 Beekmantown and No. 3 Plattsburgh High, scheduled for Tuesday, May 26. The semifinal winner advances to face Peru in the championship game Thursday, May 28, at Plattsburgh High. Class B features a four-team bracket with No. 1 Saranac hosting No. 4 Saranac Lake and No. 2 Northeastern Clinton welcoming No. 3 AuSable Valley in Tuesday, May 26 semifinal matchups. The winners will meet in the title game Friday, May 29, at Plattsburgh High. In Class C, No. 2 Northern Adirondack hosts No. 3 Moriah on Wednesday, May 27, with the winner advancing to face top-seeded Ticonderoga in the championship Saturday, May 30, at Plattsburgh High at 2 p.m. Class D opens the postseason Thursday with first-round games as No. 6 Willsboro travels to No. 3 Johnsburg/Minerva and No. 5 Lake Placid visits No. 4 Chazy.
