ABCD Hardware & Supply celebrates new location with ribbon cutting, grand opening

PLATTSBURGH | A new destination for home improvement, tools, and community connection is coming to Plattsburgh. ABCD Hardware & Supply will celebrate its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Saturday, May 16, at 9 a.m. at its new location, in Plattsburgh Plaza. ABCD Hardware & Supply is part of ABCD Enterprises, a family-founded business built on a strong foundation of hard work and service. The company began with ABCD Sanitation, offering septic services and portable restrooms, and has since expanded into plumbing and hardware retail. In 2020, the team opened its first hardware store in Brushton, followed by the purchase and reopening of Elliott's Farm and Home Supply in Winthrop in 2022. Today, both locations serve their communities as full-service hardware stores, including support for local farmers. The name "ABCD" reflects the four brothers behind the business—Alan, Brian, Corey, and David—and represents the values and commitment that continue to guide their growth. Now expanding into Plattsburgh, the team continues that mission. As part of the Do it Best network, the store offers trusted products alongside personalized, knowledgeable service. "Opening our doors in Plattsburgh is an exciting milestone for our team," said Elizabeth St. Hilaire, Head of Marketing. "We're proud to create a space where customers can find quality products and support right here in their community." The ribbon-cutting ceremony will welcome community members, local leaders, and area businesses to tour the new space, meet the team, and explore a full range of hardware, tools, and supplies.
