Sunrise Rotary Tag Sale returns May 30

PLATTSBURGH | The Sunrise Rotary Club's popular annual Community Tag Sale will return on Saturday, May 30. The fundraising event will be held indoors at VFW Post 125 at 116 Boynton Avenue in Plattsburgh from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. All items are donated and proceeds benefit the Sunrise Rotary Club's community projects. "The Sunrise Rotary Community Tag Sale is really a tag sale without price tags," explains Sunrise Rotarian and Community Tag Sale Event Chair Sue Leblanc-Durocher. "The price is right because you determine the price! And there is no price for admission. Of course, we want to raise money, but we also know that times are tough for a lot of members in our community. So many of us have come to realize that we own lots of things that we are not using, but that someone else might need." Donations can be dropped off on Friday, May 29, at the VFW on Boynton Avenue from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. To make other arrangements for donations, or if you have questions regarding the sale, you can call Mike at 518-536-1569. Sunrise Rotary is requesting that donations not include refrigerators, freezers, beds (including mattresses, frames and head/foot boards), exercise equipment, computers, children's car seats, and clothing (except for shoes, coats and hats). Also, the club is asking that all donated items be in clean and working condition.
