Bolton Chamber of Commerce lines up events

BOLTON | Over the span of two centuries, a small hamlet on Lake George's western shore has become a personal haven and little slice of Adirondack paradise for visitors near and far. Bolton Landing has earned its reputation as a favorite American vacation destination, and its plentiful thriving businesses are living proof that the local economy has a beating heart. And the Bolton Chamber of Commerce is a vital piece of a healthy and sustainable commercial landscape. "Our mission is committed to strengthening the local and regional economy by promoting the communities, providing networking opportunities, and representing the interests of our member businesses," said Elaine Chiovarou-Brown, Bolton Chamber's Executive Director. The Bolton Chamber has been serving the Bolton Community and business members since 1933, and serves approximately 200 members from the categories of Lodging, Dining, Shopping, Things to do on Land and Water, and Professional Services & Realtors. The Chamber boasts being the second-largest Visitor Center in Warren County. "Our new Visitor Center opened in 2016," shared. Chiovarou-Brown. "In 2025, we served over 14,000 visitors." According to Chiovarou-Brown, the center remains open and staffed year-round, closing only for major holidays. A full-service chamber of commerce with numerous benefits, Chiovarou-Brown says if a business is looking for positive exposure, a reasonably rated form of marketing, and serving members and visitors with a warm, personal touch, they will feel right at home at the Bolton Chamber. "Our goals are to always increase the presence of our Chamber of Commerce, providing an outstanding experience for our membership and our guests so they'll see value in returning again year after year," she noted. In 2025, each of the chamber's sponsored events saw success, which Chiovarou-Brown credits chamber members, residents, and visitors who support the Chamber as the driver of those victories. The lineup for the busy season in 2026 includes five unique experiences that offer a variety of entertainment. On Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10, the "Girlfriend's Getaway" will offer ladies an opportunity to relax and connect while focusing on women's wellness, health, and fitness. After a busy tourist season, summer will conclude with the chamber's Labor Day Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 6. A send-off from Bolton to visitors with live music on the Pier in Rogers Park and a spectacular fireworks display. The Bolton Live Music Festival, an all-day event with a line up of talent sure to please, will descend upon the community on Saturday, Sept. 19. "As people come and go in Rogers Park throughout the day, they have the opportunity to shop, dine, and stroll through the business district," Chiovarou-Brown remarked. Bolton Chamber's Annual Fundraising Auction Dinner will return on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at the Blue Water Manor. Open to the public, Chiovarou-Brown said the fundraising dinner is a lively evening event featuring wonderful sought out donations (GoBoat gift certificate, Sagamore Family Resort Membership, Poly Rocking Chair, Ultimate Movie Night, Vintage Snowshoes, gift certificates galore and so much more) available for bidding and to take home. The weekend of Oct. 9, 10, and 11 will bring a burst of blazing vibrancy to rival the resplendent fall foliage when Bolton's Glassblown Pumpkin Patch delivers over 1,000 glassblown pumpkins on display and for sale. "These beautiful, handblown pumpkins come in all colors, sizes and price ranges, and are a wonderful piece of art to collect or give as gifts all year long and for any occasion," shared Chiovarou-Brown remarked.
