Meno-Curious Women's Health Summit slated for May 16

WESTPORT | Registration is now open for the inaugural Meno-Curious Women's Health Summit, which is taking place May 16 at the historic Camp Dudley. Designed to serve women across the Adirondack Park, North Country, and Champlain Valley, this first-of-its-kind regional gathering responds to a critical gap in accessible, evidence-informed menopause education and community-based support. Across the country, menopause-focused programming is expanding rapidly, yet much of the Adirondack region remains underserved. Meno-Curious aims to change that by creating a space where midlife women can access expert guidance, practical tools, and open, stigma-free conversation. This one-day summit welcomes participants for a thoughtfully curated experience that blends clinical insight with community connection — offering education, validation, and actionable strategies for navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. "Midlife women in rural regions are often navigating complex health changes without access to specialized care or reliable information," said summit organizer Jen Williams. "This summit is one step forward toward closing that gap — bringing credible expertise, practical resources, and meaningful connection into one space, so women can make informed decisions about their health with confidence." Registration is now open, with early registration priced at $39. Attendance is limited to 60 participants to ensure a high-quality, interactive experience. The summit will include a multidisciplinary expert panel on perimenopause symptoms, treatment options, mental health, and sexual health; small-group workshops covering nutrition, self-care, and genitourinary health; somatic practices to support nervous system regulation, reduce hot flashes, and strengthen pelvic floor health; and a Community Café featuring local women-owned businesses and wellness resources. This summit will be guided by community-rooted advisors and regional thought leaders, including Michelle Maron of womenPEAKING Podcast, Robin Gucker of the Pinnacle Yoga & Retreat Center, and Kelsey Carroll, RN, MSN, and adjunct professor of Obstetric Nursing.
