Dallas Elemuel Allen II

EAST SYRACUSE | Dallas Elemuel Allen II ("D"), age 42, of East Syracuse, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 16, 2026. Dallas was a light in the lives of all who knew him. Known affectionately as "D" and "Uncle DD" to his nieces and nephews, he carried a constant smile, positive energy, and a wonderfully silly spirit that made every gathering brighter. His laughter was contagious, and his presence brought warmth and comfort to family and friends. Dallas had a passion for hunting and found deep joy in the outdoors, specifically in the Adirondacks, where he spent every hunting season with his father and uncles. At home, he expressed that same passion through cooking. He loved creating meals and bringing people together. He also loved playing guitar, sharing music and laughter wherever he went. Dallas worked as a Senior Technical Representative for Sika, a role that allowed him to travel throughout the Northeast. He took pride in his work and valued the relationships he built along the way. He is survived by his loving parents, Calvin and Fay Allen of Mooers, N.Y.; his brother, Colin Allen (Suzanne) of Millbury, Mass.; his sister, Emelin Koss (Kyle) of Mooers, N.Y.; and five cherished nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle DD. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 4 p.m. at Mooers Wesleyan Church, 146 Maple St., Mooers, N.Y.
