New exhibit celebrates Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company

CHESTERTOWN | The Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company and the Historical Society of the Town of Chester proudly hosted a memorable evening celebrating the grand opening of a special exhibit dedicated to the rich history and service of the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company at the Town of Chester Museum. The event brought together members of the Fire Company, the Historical Society, and the local community for an evening of networking, reflection, and shared pride. The celebration highlighted the storied legacy of the Fire Company and featured a heartfelt presentation of a custom photo album commemorating decades of service. This beautifully curated album, generously gifted by the Historical Society to the Fire Company, drew admiration from attendees as they reminisced and honored the commitment of local volunteers through the years. "We are absolutely thrilled by the turnout and the community's enthusiasm for this exhibit," said Jack Bartlett of Wells Beach Communications, representing both the Historical Society and the Fire Company. "It was an inspiring evening filled with meaningful conversations and a genuine appreciation for the people who have dedicated themselves to protecting Chestertown." The networking atmosphere allowed guests to reconnect with old friends, make new acquaintances, and explore the stunning historical display that chronicled the evolution of firefighting in the region.
