ADK Blood Center and community team up for 18 January blood drives

PLATTSBURGH | Adirondack Blood Center has partnered with numerous community sponsors to offer the community 18 opportunities to give blood in January. Blood collected at community drives and at the Donor Center, located at 85 Plaza Blvd., benefits patients at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, Elizabethtown Community Hospital (including Ticonderoga) and the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. A screening questionnaire addressing personal medical, social and travel history is completed prior to donating and a donor card or another form of valid identification is also required.
