Bids will be opened and read privately; bidders may not be present. Bids not received by the indicated time will not be opened.The project will be bid and awarded as two (2) Prime Contracts for General Construction (GC) and Plumbing (P).Project Description: Essex County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA) is developing Lot 11 in the newly expanded Moriah Business Park. The work includes concrete footings, frost walls, and slab on grade for an approximately 5,000 square foot building, and the associated under slab plumbing. The project also involves limited stormwater management systems and controls and limited site grading associated with the building foundation.The Owner requires the project to be substantially completed on or before July 31, 2026 and final completion on or before August 31, 2026.Contractors can visit the project site located at Moriah Business Park, 3105 Plank Road, Mineville, NY 12956 at their convenience.Bidding Documents are available for download at the AES Northeast website www.aesnortheast.com.It is the policy of the Owner to encourage disadvantaged business enterprises, including minority and women business participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Contractor's bids are irrevocable for a period of (45) days after submission.The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids.
