Johnsburg economic outlook to be featured in Nov. 13 presentation

NORTH CREEK | The public is invited to an informational evening highlighting the status of projects already in progress as well as those anticipated for 2026. Specifically, Keir Weimer will provide updates on when the Copperfield/Phoenix renovation will be completed and opens; David Cronheim has a housing development and distillery planned, and George Stannard and Jane Peter will announce opening and provide info on The Loon leasing Basil & Wick's for the ski season. The local business outlook will be collective comments from the Main Street businesses and an informative report from the rafting companies, with the Warren County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC), Warren-Washington Industrial Development Agency (WWIDA), The Cronheim Companies, Weekender Hospitality llc, Gore Mountain/ORDA, RevRail, and local businesses. It will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Tannery Pond Center, 228 Main St. Short presentations will be followed by a Q&A panel with the presenters. The combined overview aims to discuss how the various developments are intertwined as collective economic drivers for the community, benefiting residents and tourism alike. The event will be recorded and made available for everyone, but not on a ZOOM platform.
