Ti erupts for 33-0 win to close regular season

TICONDEROGA | Ticonderoga ended a nine-game losing streak Thursday, Oct. 30, shutting out Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton 33-0 in non-conference football at Sentinel Field. The win was the Sentinels' first since Oct. 26, 2024, when they defeated Rockland Central 21-0 in eight-man play. Junior quarterback Jackson Dorsett opened the scoring with a 14-yard touchdown run midway through the first quarter and added a 1-yard plunge in the second to make it 14-0. Skyler Frasier followed with a 1-yard run later in the half to extend the margin to 20-0. In the third quarter, Trevor Blanchard scored from three yards out, and Frasier broke free for a 74-yard touchdown sprint down the right sideline. Brady Kennedy added the extra point to cap the 33-point effort. Frasier led the Sentinels with 124 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Blanchard added 95 yards and a score on 13 attempts, while Dorsett finished with 13 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and completed one pass for seven yards to Frasier. After allowing 375 yards per game through their first eight contests, Ticonderoga's defense delivered its best performance of the season, holding the Wolverines to just 42 total yards on 32 rushing attempts and no completed passes. Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton (3-5) has now dropped four straight, being outscored 180-37 during that stretch under head coach John Irion, who previously led Queensbury to a 2013 Class A state championship. Ticonderoga (1-8) closed its regular season with its first win in 11-man football since returning to the format this fall.
