Buck (Bernard R.) Denno

HAGUE | Buck Denno (Bernard R.), age 79, passed away suddenly the morning of Sept. 18, 2025, at his home in Hague, N.Y. He was born on March 23, 1946, to Bernard (Buck) and Anna Denno of Hague, N.Y. He was the oldest son of their 15 children. They called him "Two Bucks." He grew up and attended school in Hague, N.Y., and has lived his entire life here. Buck was a wonderful man who worked different jobs and made many friends. He retired from Pat Armstrong, Inc. He loved driving trucks, especially his 1938 Chevy. Buck is survived by his wife, Jo (Veronica) Denno, and their grandson, Jake Myers; his children, Tim Denno of Hague, Jay Denno of Saranac Lake, Brandi Denno Collins (Chris) of North Carolina, and Ben Denno (fiancée Arianna) of Ticonderoga; grandchildren Hunter, Ty, Taylor, Sean, Ashleigh, Tristen, Trent, Sophia, Aubrie and Weston; stepdaughter Jodie Myers and her son Tanner; 14 great-grandchildren; the mothers of his children, Cheri Freidel and Linda Farrer of Florida (stepdaughters Kellie and Heather), many nieces, nephews and so many friends. Also two brothers, Ralph (Heather) Denno and Thomas (Michele) Denno of Hague; and seven sisters, Pamela Denno of Florida, Deborah Denno and Michele (Tim) Gautreau of Hague, Mary Ann (Ken) Osier of Chilson, Theresa (Joe) Gagliardi of Glens Falls, Bernadette (Mike) Fish of North Carolina and Maureen (Wade) Stevens of Vermont. Buck was predeceased by his parents, Bernard E. (Buck) and Anna (Robbins) Denno; two sisters, Barbara Tyler and Marie Murray; and three brothers, Robert, Joseph and Peter Denno. Buck loved his family, friends, good music, pretty women, good smoke/drink and just a damn good party! He lived life to the fullest and exactly how he wanted to, right until the very end. That's the true Denno way! We will celebrate the life of our legend on Oct. 11, 2025, at the Hague Fish and Game Club with our family and club members from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. All others are welcome from 3 p.m. on, until we can't party anymore.
