Jay and Keene co-host Sustainability & Energy Fair

JAY | The towns of Jay and Keene are thrilled to host the Second Annual Sustainability & Energy Fair on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jay Village Green and the Amos & Julia Ward Theater. Following the success of last year's event, this year's fair will again bring together community members, local businesses, and sustainability advocates for a day of family fun, live music, kids' activities, food and refreshments, and interactive learning. Are you a business, nonprofit, or organization committed to sustainability, energy efficiency, or climate action? We invite you to be part of the 2025 Sustainability & Energy Fair! We welcome a wide range of participants, including: Suppliers of sustainable products and technologies (e.g., solar panels, heat pumps, EVs, composting systems). Local businesses such as lumber yards, hardware stores, and contractors offering eco-friendly solutions. Nonprofit organizations focused on environmental education, conservation, and climate advocacy. Farms, artisans, and makers using sustainable materials or practices. Educational institutions and community groups promoting green initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with a community passionate about sustainability, share your expertise, and promote your offerings in a lively, supportive setting. Short seminars will be held throughout the day on topics like solar energy, heat pumps, composting, and electric vehicles. Sponsorship opportunities are available at $75, $150, and $250 levels. Anyone interested in participating should sign up here, email k.sauer@townofjayny.gov. or call 914-309-9057.
