Three charged in multi-agency drug bust

PLATTSBURGH | Three people have been arrested following a coordinated multi-agency drug bust that led to the seizure of crack cocaine, cocaine, fentanyl, a loaded handgun and nearly $5,000 cash. On Monday, May 6, the Plattsburgh City Police Department led a drug investigation with the Adirondack Narcotics Enforcement Unit (ANEU) in executing a search warrant at Wood Manor Drive in the Town of Plattsburgh. Through the investigation, it was determined that large amounts of narcotic substances were being sold from the residence. During the execution of the search warrant, which was conducted by the Tri-County Special Response Team (SRT), eight individuals were located on the property and detained. The search yielded the seizure of approximately 80 grams of crack cocaine, 25 grams of cocaine, and 76 grams of fentanyl, all intended to be packaged for distribution within the community. Also located inside the residence was a loaded 9mm handgun and approximately $4,950 in drug proceeds. Three people were later charged, including Alisa Fields, 38, of Wood Manor Drive, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree criminal nuisance. Rosa Dreslinski, 39, also a resident of Wood Manor Drive, was arrested and charged with the same felony counts of drug possession and criminal nuisance. Marvin Chinn, 29, of Schenectady was also arrested on the felony drug possession and weapons charge. All three were arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and remanded to Clinton County Jail. The Adirondack Narcotics Enforcement Unit is comprised of the Plattsburgh City Police Department, Clinton County Sheriff's Department, New York State Police and Homeland Security Investigations. The Tri-County SRT consists of the Clinton County Sheriff's Department, Essex County Sheriff's, Franklin County Sheriff's, Ticonderoga Police Department, and the Malone Police Department.
