Essex Co. announces "I voted" sticker contest

ELIZABETHTOWN | The Essex County Board of Elections will hold its first "I Voted" Sticker Contest this year. Any Essex County resident aged 13-18 may participate. Applicants can design it however they'd like as long as it includes "I Voted" and "2023" somewhere on it. The Board of Elections will use the winner's art to create "I Voted" stickers and digital graphics for the Nov. 7 general election. The design will be shrunk to a two-inch circle sticker. Artwork submissions will be accepted between May 1 and June 30. The Essex County Board of Elections Commissioners will select the top designs and then open the contest up to voting on its website. During the month of August, Essex County residents can vote for their favorite design. The winning artwork will be selected from the top vote recipients and announced Sept. 5. Stickers featuring the artwork will be distributed during the Nov. 7 general election to all voters in Essex County. Along with artwork in PDF, JPEG or PNG format, recipients must send their first name, town, parent's name and parent's contact information to artsubmission@essexcountyny.gov or mail the design and information to The Essex County Board of Elections, P.O.
